Our story
In 2009, brothers Patrick and Daniel Brown founded Occam Education to help students find and win admission to competitive university programs. Listening to those students revealed a much bigger gap: motivated people who wanted healthcare careers that didn't require a four-year degree — and care organizations that couldn't find them.
Wend Care launched in November 2023 to close that gap. Today we recruit for hospitals and long-term care organizations across Indiana, reaching candidates through the social platforms where they already spend their time and supporting them through hiring and beyond.
Where you'll find us
We present on entry-level clinical hiring trends at industry gatherings, including the Indiana Hospital Association's Workforce Solutions Summit, and we partner with national staffing organizations to extend our candidates' reach.
